Behind the petals and the slow ritual is serious skincare. Every Lunavée formula starts with a real skin concern, then earns its way back with proven, well-tolerated actives — many of them face-grade. Here's what's doing the work, and why it matters.
Often called the "do-everything" vitamin — and ours is renewable-grade and exceptionally well tolerated. It works on several fronts at once: reinforcing the skin barrier by boosting its own ceramides and lipids, defending against UV, blue light and pollution, evening tone by limiting melanin transfer, refining the look of blemishes, and supporting firmness over time.
We don't just add one ceramide — we rebuild the barrier the way skin builds it. A precise blend of ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II with cholesterol, free fatty acids and phytosphingosine recreates the same multi-layer "liquid-crystal" structure as skin's own lipids: the anchor (Cer 1) locks the layers together, the guardian (Cer 3) prevents water loss, and the coordinator (Cer 6-II) keeps renewal smooth.
Most "floral" products rely on fragrance alone. We use a fresh-preservation technique that locks real rose, jasmine and camellia petals at their peak — so the actual petal stays intact and active in the gel, unaffected by heat or light. Rose is deeply calming, too: its naturally occurring linalool and geraniol are linked to easing tension and restful sleep, while hydrating and brightening the skin.
